At Gidibox, we're committed to providing exceptional service and building trust with our community. We understand that plans can change, and we've created a refund policy that's fair to both attendees and event organizers.
General Policy
- All ticket sales on Gidibox are final unless the event is cancelled by the organizer.
- Refund eligibility depends on the event organizer's individual refund policy.
- Processing fees (₦100) are non-refundable.
Event Cancellation
If an event is cancelled by the organizer:
- You will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.
- You will be notified via email about the cancellation and refund.
Ticket Transfers
If you can't attend an event, you can transfer your ticket to someone else using our ticket transfer feature. This is available from your "My Tickets" page. Transferred tickets cannot be refunded.
Refund Timeline
- Request submitted: Within 24 hours of event cancellation
- Review period: 1-3 business days
- Refund processed: 5-7 business days after approval
- Bank credit: Depends on your bank (usually 1-3 additional days)
Non-Refundable Cases
- Change of mind after purchase (unless organizer allows it)
- Failure to attend the event (no-show)
- Events that have already taken place
- Free event registrations
- Processing fees
